COVID-19 Safety Protocols
Precautions will be taken to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Camps will be held outdoors where spread is less likely. Campers and teachers will wear a mask at all times, with the exception of snack/lunch where students will be allowed to take off their mask but make sure their distance is a minimum of six feet apart. Campers will be asked to maintain six feet of distance during instruction and activities will be designed to keep the 6 foot distance. Students will be allowed to play on the playground equipment during breaks if parent gives approval, but must continue to wear their mask over their nose and mouth. Temperatures will be taken at the beginning of camp each day and any camper who has a temperature over 99.9 will not be permitted to attend that day. Screening questions will be asked each morning to confirm that campers and members of the household do not have any COVID-19 symptoms or have had any contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the camp day and campers will need to use it before the camp day begins, before and after snack, and intermittently through the camp day as needed. Students will have their own materials or materials will be sanitized between uses.
